Growing Strong & Compassionate Clinicians
Wollemi’s Continuing Education programs are designed for counselors, social workers, and helping professionals who want practical, trauma-informed, and deeply human training. Our workshops blend evidence-based clinical frameworks with real-world application, offering tools you can use immediately with clients navigating perinatal mental health, identity shifts, trauma, parenting, and life-stage transitions. Rooted in compassion, narrative, and nervous-system-informed care, our CEUs support both clinical excellence and the clinician’s own growth.

Wollemi Counseling is an approved Continuing Education provider through the Ohio Social Worker, Counselor, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, ensuring all CEUs meet state licensure requirements.

But So Much Has Already Changed: Navigating Perinatal Ambivalence with Motivational Interviewing
Presented by Anita Fakhoury MA, LPC
March 27th 11:30am-1:30pm 2.0 CEU Credits

Join us as we explore ambivalence for change in the space of perinatal mental health. As providers, it can feel like there are never enough tools to support clients as they navigate the many changes and mental health symptoms that can arise during the perinatal period. As clients adjust to parenthood, the overwhelming demands and competing needs often leave us exploring how to make the greatest impact within limited time, while also addressing guilt, healthy habits, self-care, and boundary-setting.

This session will introduce Motivational Interviewing and explore how readiness and importance rulers can serve as helpful tools to best support clients as they navigate the transition to parenthood.
